The great majority of our charters are casting light
tackle (10 lb. test line) with jig heads or other artificial rigs in water
ranging from skinny up to 10’. There are occasions where we may use
cut or live bait depending on the tides and time of year.

You need to bring:
Clothing appropriate for the season
(non-marring shoes please) Hat, cap or any head cover
Sunglasses (you’ll see a lot more with polarized lenses)
Sun screen (a higher SPF is recommended)

Captain Bob’s boat is a model 23SE, 23’ Parker
with a low noise, smokeless four stroke Yamaha engine. It is equipped
with the following:

Updated fishing gear

Safety equipment (flares, noise producing devices, locating gear)

Two GPS units

Two VHF radios

Type 1, commercial, personal floatation devices

Wet and dry storage
The boat is docked at River Haven Marina at 1110 S. Riverside Dr. in
Steinhatchee. |

RATES:
Full Day, Eight hours: $400.00
Half Day, Four hours: $300.00
Split Trip: (1/2 fishing, ½ scalloping) $500.00
(Pricing predicated on 4 people per trip)
Departure times to suit your needs can be discussed when you book your
charter. Cleaning your catch at the dock can be arranged and
the charges are typically $.50 a pound. They will be bagged and ready
for your freezer.
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Safety is of the utmost importance and decisions regarding inclement
weather will always be at the sole discretion of the Captain. In
the event the Captain cancels the charter, any deposits will be returned
and no further charges will be due. Prior to any cancellation, the
Captain will make all attempts to take you and your party fishing/scalloping
(monitoring radar and departing later in the morning in better weather,
etc.).
When booking your charter, there will be a $100.00 deposit required.
If you cancel your charter, you will be given the option for a reschedule
or full refund of your deposit. Please advise us of your situation
as early as possible, so your cancelled date can be rebooked. |
